History in the Making
On Saturday 31st October 2009, England played the Australians in the 4Nations Cup Competition.
This was played at the DW Stadium, Wigan, with a 2:30pm kick off.
It was only be right and fitting that the HFH Club are presented with their Sport England ‘Clubmark Gold’ award
at this high calibre event.
The presentation was made by the Matt Birkett - RFL North West Regional Manager (Community Development)
during the half time interval.

Halton Farnworth Hornets arlfc received official notification that the club had been awarded
CLUBMARK
on 23rd May 2006
This was shortly followed by the awarding of
CLUB HALTON
on 16th June 2006
The 'Official Presentation' of BOTH awards took place at the Halton Stadium
on
SUNDAY 13th AUGUST 2006.
This was during the half time period of one of the Widnes Vikings home games.

Without doubt, this was great news for everybody connected with the
HFH
club, whether in a playing role or volunteering role.
