Moss Side Playing Fields

• Take the M6 North and exit at Junction 28 (Leyland). 
• At the end of the exit slip road turn right, and take the offside lane as you approach the traffic lights.
• At the traffic lights (Hayrick pub in front of you), turn right onto the A49.
• Travel along this road passing a Shell garage on your right and Leyland Golf Club on your left.
• At the next junction turn right into Heald House Lane. This road takes you back over the M6.
• Stay on the main road going straight on at three mini-roundabouts.
• At traffic lights (Eagle & Child pub on left) go straight ahead.
• The road then goes through an S bend with a medieval cross in the middle of the road.
• Straight after the medieval cross, there is a mini-roundabout.
• Turn right at the mini-roundabout into Fox Lane (Public House on right hand side).
• On Fox Lane go straight on at the mini-roundabout.
• At the end of Fox Lane is another mini-roundabout with a Chemist shop facing you. Take the second exit, which is almost a straight on.
• There is a school on the left, which you pass before turning left into Slater Lane.
• At the next set of traffic lights go straight on (staying on Slater Lane).
• On the left you will pass a minor partially made road before coming to Moss Side Way, which cuts across Slater Lane.
• Turn left into Moss Side Way.
• At the roundabout go straight on and stay on this road, which terminates at Leyland Warriors car park.
