• Take M62 towards Leeds and exit at J20 onto the A627.
• At first roundabout, take the second exit sign posted for Oldham (still A627).
• Travel along the A627 and continue to follow the signs for Oldham.You will pass a B&Q Warehouse to your left hand side.
• At next roundabout, continue straight on (third exit and still A627).
• The next roundabout is called "Mumps Bridge" and you will see a Railway Station on your right hand side.
• Take the fourth exit into Lees Road (A669).At traffic lights, continue straight through and you will see a Fire Station on your right hand side.
• Continue along this road and towards Greenfield.Along this road you will pass three pubs. The Friendship, The Red Lion, The Grotton and The Farrars Arms.
• When you have passed The Farrars Arms, follow the road for a futher quarter of a mile.
• The road will bear left and you need to turn right at this point.
• Follow the road down through an "S" bend and into Chew Valley Road.
• Travel for some 100 yards and then turn left into Wellington Road.Churchill Playing Fields can be found at the end of Wellington Road.
